ARCHBOLD, OH – Sauder Funeral Products is proud to announce a new continuing education program, “Providing Valuable Funeral Services” that has been approved by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice (APFSP).  This informative program is available in partnership with Sauder distributors as a service to their funeral provider customers.

“Providing Valuable Funeral Services” explores how funeral providers can improve their competitive position in an evolving market with shifting consumer preferences, expectations for value, and desire for personalized experiences.

“There’s a lot of focus and even stress regarding shifting market trends towards cremation, but too little emphasis on the importance of value in the minds of consumers,” said Mark Klingenberger, Director of Sales & Marketing at Sauder and instructor for this course. “Funeral professionals who understand this and change their approach can dramatically improve their engagement with families and their competitive position.  This course helps us support our Independent Distributor Network and helps them bring more value to their customers,” Mr. Klingenberger continued.

While individual states govern continuing education approvals, many accept courses that have been approved by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, which applies specific guidelines in the evaluation of programs for the award of Continuing Education Units (CEU) of credit.  The APFSP’s inspired mission is to recognize qualifying activities that raise the standards of excellence in funeral service, including organizations such as Sauder Funeral Products who offer quality continuing education for funeral service.
Funeral professionals interested in this 1-hour CEU course should contact their Sauder distributor.
