When people ask Mark Leverington about the Leverington Funeral Home of the Northern Hills, he likes to say, “We are people who love to help people. We are more than just a funeral provider.”
He said of himself and his wife and partner Debra, “We are, (to sum it up), a family who helps people say goodbye – and to us, this is more than a business and we hope that’s visible to everyone.”
Along with longtime staff, Leverington said he is especially pleased to introduce Mynde Taylor, a licenced funeral director new to the funeral home.
“We volunteer for the Black Hills Roundup, Mark is Past Chairman and has been the Parade Chairman for six years. We also support the Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce, Belle Fourche Economic Development, Chutes for Charity, Belle Baseball Association, and more. We also donate to many local causes.”
Leverington said, “You will see us involved because we think it’s important to give something back to this great community that we live in. We are here to serve.
The staff works to offer the best service available. “Our service sets us apart, and you will see by our dedication that we truly care about people.
The new, modern building exudes warmth, peace and comfort.
The staff also includes caring hearts. “We don’t just provide funerals, we provide care.”
Leverington said the entire staff holds a commitment to excellence. “We are professional and we run our business with integrity.”
He added, “If someone have “preplanned” with a different funeral home, it can be transferred to our funeral home at any time, even upon death.”
