Homesteaders Life Company, a national leader in preneed funeral funding, is proud to sponsor the keynote address from bestselling author Simon Sinek at this year’s first-ever all-virtual National Funeral Directors International Convention & Expo, October 20-22.

“We are excited to be this year’s Double Black Diamond sponsor, bringing keynote speaker, Simon Sinek, to this all-virtual event,” said Steve Shaffer chairman, president and CEO of Homesteaders Life Company. “Sinek’s organization exists to help people ‘change our world for the better,’ a message that resonates with us at Homesteaders as we focus on creating connections between consumers and funeral professionals that enable people to design a better farewell. That definitely takes a great deal of inspiration and imagination, and we know Simon will provide both for everyone who hears him speak.”

Sinek’s opening keynote will be Tuesday, October 20, at 1 p.m. During the address, convention attendees will have the opportunity to gain insights from the author’s latest book, The Infinite Game, which explains how business leaders can help their organizations stay ahead by focusing on long-term success rather than finite goals.

Out of consideration for the wellbeing of participants during the coronavirus pandemic, the NFDA will offer this year’s convention in an all-virtual format for the first time ever. The new presentation will provide convenient and affordable options for learning, networking and discovering new solutions.

“We’re proud to make this leadership-level investment in the 2020 NFDA International Convention and Expo,” Shaffer affirmed. “Our team is confident that everything is being done by NFDA’s management and staff to make this virtual convention productive and very much worthy of participation. While we cannot be together in person, a virtual event removes a lot of the barriers to attendance. We hope many more funeral professionals can enjoy the stellar content planned for the 2020 convention.”

During the event, Homesteaders will share exciting news about exclusive new solutions to help funeral professionals reach and stay connected with even more families. Representatives will be available for online meetings at the NFDA Virtual Expo Hall throughout the event. In addition, attendees can enter for opportunities to win prizes by visiting the exhibitor booths for Homesteaders, eFuneral and The Domani Group.
