Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers have officially opened a new facility on South College Avenue in Bryan.

The new funeral and cremation center features a traditional, yet modern look and the latest technology. Numerous high-definition video screens and a 35-foot video tribute wall are two of the facilities new features. The business also offers options to livestream services to the internet.

My wife Chelsea, my mother, Lorene and our entire team are delighted to welcome the public to see the new funeral center,” owner Cody Jones said in a press release. “We are proud of our newest facility that allows us to better serve our clients and friends here in the community that’s been my lifetime home.”

Now in its 110th year as a fifth-generation family-owned business, Callaway-Jones had their first ribbon cutting at the site at 3001 S. College Ave. in 1953. The newest facility was built in phases over the past two years so the business could remain operational.

The facility also features a Bluebonnet Community Event room, which Jones said can be used as a nonprofit meeting place that can accommodate groups of all sizes.

Churches or groups interested in receiving a private tour of the new facility can contact Jones at 979-822-3717 or by visiting
