Dec 14 – Dec 16 all-day

Promotional materials should be available mid-June. Until that time, please direct interested parties to Sally Belanger at [email protected] or 207-841-6330. Programming routinely offers continuing education credit.
While we are still tweaking our programming, the program will offer an operational overview of the Charles C. We will also visit Arlington National Cemetery where there will be a formal wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers, as well as other special educational opportunities; a tour of our Nation’s Capitol with a focus on our national treasures and monuments honoring our servicemen and women. Saturday morning, participants will help to place in excess of 250,000 wreaths on the graves of our fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery. In the afternoon, several other optional events are in the planning stages. Saturday night will find everyone at Constitution Hall for the United States Navy Band’s Holiday tribute. For further information will be included in the upcoming issue of The Dodge Magazine, online at Dodge’s website after mid-June or through Sally B’s office at the contact information listed above.

Human Resources Spring Training @ The Foresight Companies
Feb 22 @ 9:00 am – 4:30 pm
“The single largest cost of operating a funeral home or cemetery is staffing. Yet, no one has trained business owners and managers on what the rules are to manage their staff,” says Dan Isard.

“If you think good employees are expensive you should see how much bad ones will cost you.”

This two day seminar will provide attendees everything they need to know and have for implementation as a Human Resource director. During this two day workshop, you will learn “what to do”, “how to do it” and most importantly “what not to do”. Attendees will create all their key Human Resource management documents during our 16 hours of seminar instruction.

Attendees will leave this seminar with ready to implement (subject to state law):

– Employee Manual

Cemetery Impossible @ The Foresight Companies
Jun 5 @ 9:00 am – Jun 6 @ 4:30 pm
This two-day seminar will take its attendees through the basic points of operation from the ground up and down! Attendees will learn pricing of interment rights in theory and then in application to their existing property.

This seminar is for cemetery owners, managers and board members of for-profit and not-for- profit cemeteries. Each attendee will learn easy ways to dramatically increase their cash flow the day they get home.

This seminar follows the uniquely dynamic and effective style of The Foresight Companies’ workshops. Attendees come with their businesses financial and operating data pre-loaded onto a specially designed spreadsheet. They not only learn the theory, they get hands-on understanding of the math supporting their decisions. We will challenge attendees to dig deep and get their hands dirty as they work on their specific business issues.
