West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center Celebrates 100 Years

West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center in West Fargo and Casselton is celebrating 100 years of business with four generations of licensed ownership.

A ribbon-cutting and celebration will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at the Sheyenne Street location in West Fargo.

West Funeral Home was established in 1916 by Soren S. West and continued ownership through Wayne G. West, William W. “Bill” West and the current owner, Bill’s nephew, Craig W. Olson. Also employed at the funeral home are licensed funeral directors: Andrew West, Dave Haug, Robert Norton and Jason Vollmer along with office manager Jane Arendes and 13 tribute assistants.

The business now offers webcasting, pictures of flowers, video tributes, fully completed register books, service plaques, tribute candle, printed online condolence messages, personalized thank- you notes for no additional charge.
